A full permaculture designcourse leading to an internationally recognised certificate.
Get the whole view; learn to live in harmony with planet Earth.
Will be held over one week combining theory and practical work with time for enjoying the Portuguese countryside.
Permaculture is a positive and globally recognized design system based on the ethics of Earth care, People care and limits to consumption. By the end of the course students will understand the concept of sustainable development as well as the principles and strategies of Permaculture design, and will be able to apply this knowledge in their private and professional lives.
At Serenada on the 6-14 october, 2007.
Also some night classes for video displaying will be presented during the evening.
Free day on Wednesday will allow people to relax and take a break, having the possibility to go for a group walk to the mountains, beach or river, sleep, reading and reviewing, etc.
Tutor: Lesley Martin (dip. perm.), was an organic grower and farmer in Cornwall for 20 years before taking a Permaculture Design course in 1995. She went on to take the Permaculture Diploma, with a 2 year teaching apprenticeship. After qualifying as a teacher in Adult education she taught a Government funded Permaculture Training Course throughout the South West of England before coming to Portugal in 1999.
The course will take place with a minimum of 8 participants.

I would like to know if you are running any permaculture courses in spring/summer 2008 as I hope to attend one and will be travelling in Europe at that time. I have already taken an introduction course and am looking to complete the full permaculture design course.

Thanks for the wonderful days in you place.
I’m already recuperating from the total imersion in Permaculture during the course. But it was a great time and very useful information.
I’m missing the beautiful view of the site and the tasty meals by Hanna.
