About Serenada:

Serenada is a hundred year old farm situated above the village of Casais in Monchique. Serenada is farmed naturally (without pestecides) since 1978. Here we have our own Foía-water and we are solarpowered. We sit on top of 18 southfacing terasses covering 2 acres. We also have an unobstructed view from Albufeira to Lagos.

How to get here:

Our nearest airport is in Faro (Algarve, Portugal). You can also fly to Sevilla (Spain) or Lisbon (Portugal). From the airports there is good communication with trains & buses to towns near us; Portimão, Aljezur & Monchique.

How to sleep:

We have a couple of guestrooms and terrasses good for camping.

What to pack:

Bedding, toothbrush, sunhat, warm sweater & good shoes.

  • Hello,

we met at Symposium Iberia-Verde! on March 4th, with Sepp Holzer as guest.

We invite you to visit us in the southern Alentejo, a little north of Santana das Serra and at the outmost western part of barragem de Sta Clara.

And we propose to link our programs! And sometimes do events together!

    Sincerely

    Annette & Bernd Gerken, April 10th 2007
